The station was donated to the Diocese on the Niger by Ezekiel and Mathilda Mbanugo Foundations facilitated by the Ven Emma C. Mbanugo. The Lasbery Communications Limited became the parent body for the licensing of the Radio and Television station. With the successful registration processes, the Nigeria Broadcasting Commission licensed the station for test transmission and finally full commercial transmission.
On the 27th April 2015, the former Primate of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Most Rev Nicholas D. Okoh in the company of the Bishop on the Niger and other Church Fathers commissioned the station and officially opened it for broadcast activities.
The Radio transmits on 106.5fm within South-East Nigeria and beyond. The Television transmitted through Startimes before it was put on hold due to some technical issues. The television will soon be back better and stronger
